These were created for my Illustration for Advertising course. We spent a couple of weeks exploring making illustrative patterns that convey a certain lifestyle and attitude. For mine I really wanted to play with different forms of pattern including some that are more linear in repetition and some that are more abstract or narrative based. This exercise opened my eyes to how much I actually enjoy pattern making, so I will definitely be exploring in the future how pattern can continue contributing to my design.
